Process outsourcing of procurement activities and supply management.
> Building Supply Chain, Revitalization and Procurement Management
Have you moved your plant or distribution center to another country or to Europe from another continent? Or has your key manufacturing supplier moved (ECM, TPI)? Do you need to build and manage a new supply chain for certain items and services? Do you need a temporary functional procurement department before you build your own? Do you need to arrange for activities (e.g. optimization of rates and processes) that your current department does not have time for?
> Outsourcing Procurement of the Non-Strategic Items:
The aim is to reduce the load of the procurement department from processes involving procurement of the non-strategic items. The following items may be involved: localization and packing items, industrial consumer products, working cloths, office supply, small equipment, tools and measuring instruments, electrical and electronic items, communication and security equipment, printing materials, cleaning services, security guard services, gourmet services and many others. It may involve either taking over and managing the current supply chain or building a new one.
> Managing the Supply Chain or a Part of It:
Not only outsourcing procurement but also managing a specific whole of suppliers including procurement, storage and distribution of given items and services.
For example when supplying the complete country kitting.
Results:
> Improving the effectiveness of procurement, more time for procurement of the key items or other key processes

> Lowering indirect costs (human resource, facilities)

> Improving flexibility and quality
